Dharug for Baby - (6 weeks to 2 years)
In the Boori Room we provide a nurturing, safe, and comforting space for infants and young toddlers. Our program focuses on building secure attachments, following your child’s unique routine, and supporting early development through play-based experiences. Educators incorporate sensory exploration, movement, and key-word signing to help young children communicate, fostering their early confidence and sense of belonging.
The Muddi environment is designed to spark curiosity and independence in toddlers. Our interest-based program encourages children to explore, make choices, and build resilience. Through flexible routines, small group times and meaningful interactions, children develop their decision-making, problem-solving, and social skills. The children also participate in our garden to plate program, connecting with nature and learning through hands-on exploration.
In the Warooga class we focus on being school and life ready through a play based curriculum. Our program supports essential skills like effective communication, emotion regulation, planning, social skills and motor development through intentional teaching moments and child-led experiences. The Warooga class balances indoor/outdoor learning and integrates Bush Kinder sessions, fostering childrens confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
Bush Kinder is a unique program that connects children with nature, encouraging exploration and learning in the beautiful Blue Mountains bushland. Children engage in imaginative play, hands-on activities, and safe risk-taking; developing physical, cognitive, and social skills. Bush Kinder fosters a deep respect for the land, Indigenous culture, and sustainable practices, inspiring children to become future custodians of our environment while experiencing the joy and wonder of outdoor learning.
