Euroka provides nutritious meals prepared by our cook Elaine. All children's cultural, food sensitivities and dietary needs are catered for. Fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables are sourced from our edible garden when in season. There is a large selection of Bush Tucker in the garden including cinnamon and lemon myrtle, and lilly pilly trees. All meals are prepared fresh on the premises daily.
Euroka is a member of the Stephanie Alexander kitchen garden program. We incorporate a garden to plate philosophy as a daily part of our curriculum and foster children's autonomy and skills in food planting, harvesting and meal preparation.
Euroka has a Parent Management Committee [PMC] who support the Director in Governance and management of the centre.
All families are invited to join the PMC. This is a perfect opportunity for you to contribute to the long term future of Euroka. The Annual General Meeting is held in October/November.
